I pray for a Church that is

more interested in whose on the real Throne (Luke 1:32) than whose in power in Washington

more interested in Calgary's Cross and the King that died for the world (John 3:16) than Capital Hill

more interested in scripture imperatives than American rights

more interested with servant leading with a water bowl and towel to wash each others feet (John 13:14) than ruling over others

more interested in following the only Messiah and in total Allegiance and unity with other believers - no matter their skin color, nationality or documentation status than finding a new Messiah to rule

more interested sacrifice(Romans 12:1) than in protection

more interested in the Rock of our salvation (Romans 9:33) than Plymouth Rock

more interested in the communion of Our Lord than an election that is a secular communion of a political party

more interested in enemy love (Matthew 5:44) than finding new enemies to hate.
